About the Novel

Jonathan Jackson never dreamed he’d actually escape the doldrums of teenage life. After all, preparing him for mastery school studying library arts was his dad’s idea. However, the announcement of him as First Warden by an otherworldly lady and his newfound special abilities could change everything.

But the same week, he learns from a prophecy he will save the mortal and immortal worlds at a great personal cost—a cost he’s unprepared to pay. The elf-lord, Malgroth, seeks to undo this prophecy by destroying Jonathan and subjugating the worlds to his tyrannical rule. The Dark Lord’s mind-controlled servants oppose him at every turn. Jonathan hopes his abilities will be strong enough to stay one step ahead of them.

With the help of his neighbor, Rebecca, Jonathan seeks to rescue his dad whose selfless, yet dangerous decision landed him in the king’s dungeon. While journeying to the forbidden capital city, and seeking a way to the dark door leading to Malgroth’s realm, they become ensnared in his plot against the king which would plunge his kingdom into war. A war which is only the first step in Malgroth's grand plans. Jonathan finds the layers of deceit burrow deep, exposing the Dark Lord's servants for who they are and yet providing the stage for a young boy to do what he was destined to do.

About the Novel

The thrilling adventures of Jonathan and Rebecca against the domination of Malgroth continue in the next installment.

Chapter 1: As Thrilling As Can Be

“Rebecca, come on, let’s go below deck.” My brother, Linus, pulls me close. His working man’s hand warms mine against the chill October air.

Sailors, cursing under the heavy load to get the ship underway, scurry around the deck to stations they may have learned during their youth. Some toothless, many bedraggled, and all sea-hardened men who will form the backbone of our dangerous expedition to little-known lands in the west.

Tears bore runnels down my cheeks. Never thought I’d cry over Jonathan Jackson, the arrogant, “society-owes-me” prankster I’ve known my whole life. My bottom lip curls and my fists ball. He can act so frustrating—tension eases in my fingers—so kindhearted. We’ve been through everything together, adventures, imprisonments, rescues, and even a rivalry. Now Edalein is with us, the flirtatious princess whose attractiveness I can never hope to match.

Do I love him? Of course, I do.

Wardens of the Worlds Novelettes

About the Novelette

Volunteering for a simple mission turns out to be more than a young knight named Jack bargains for. As he infiltrates the Dunkelbirgh Mountain fortress with his partner, Lord Conri II, he learns a trusted general has plans of his own for the key stronghold in the north. When the enemies that overthrew the castle capture Conri, only Jack can save him and throw open the gates, allowing friendly forces to retake it.

About the Novelette

A peaceful and quiet life is more than some Dwarves experience in their indentured servitude to the Fire Faerie kingdom. A young apprentice jeweler, Dwamlin, heads out with his Master Goldsmith father for a typical day in the mines. Their commission quickly derails and Dwamlin must navigate corrupt soldiers, greedy royals, and family betrayal. As a legend unfolds before his eyes, he realizes the Old Tales are true and receives a Prophecy that will determine the fate of the Two Worlds.
